A neighborhood-led baseball league founded in 2025 to provide safe, accessible entry-level baseball opportunities for youth ages 6-12. Programming is specifically designed for new and inexperienced ballplayers, but open to anyone between the ages of 6-12. The Octavius Catto Youth Baseball League is guided by four core values:

• Safety: Playing and building community in a physically and psychologically safe environment

• Inclusivity: Welcoming young ballplayers and their families, regardless of their identity, socioeconomic status, ability, or experience

• Intentionality: Relentlessly prioritizing connection, shared knowledge, skill development, and understanding to provide participants with a positive sports experience

• Fun: Designing engaging experiences that maximize opportunities for success, growth, and positive interactions
